Returns & Refunds
Aetna-Hardware.com accepts exchanges and returns. All returns will be reimbursed in the form of merchandise credit with Aetna-Hardware.com. If, in returning your items to Aetna-Hardware.com, you package the items poorly and they are damaged in transit, we will not be able to give you full credit for the return. Please carefully pack your returns.

Return time-frame: You have 10 calendar days from the time you received your order to return any item to Aetna-Hardware.com. If you return the item within 10 days, we will refund, as merchandise credit, the full value of any authorized return minus shipping & handling charges and restocking fees.  After 10 days, all sales are final.

Shipping your return: To ship your return back to Aetna-Hardware.com, please use insured US Mail or UPS. Make sure to keep your tracking numbers. Send your return to this address:

Your refund: We will refund a merchandise credit for the full value of any authorized return minus shipping & handling charges and restocking fees. Returning defective items does not incur a restocking fee.

Restocking fees: Restocking fees are 35% of the original purchase price.

Missing, Defective, and Damaged Merchandise:
To safeguard against such situations, we carefully inspect every item before shipping.   If Aetna-Hardware.com has incorrectly filled an order or has sent you an item that is defective but clearly has not been damaged en route, Aetna-Hardware.com will replace the item.

For Items Damaged During Shipping: Please inspect your shipment before you sign for it. If the product appears visibly damaged from shipping, do not sign to accept the shipment. Rather, refuse delivery and please contact us immediately 262-781-8808. If you sign for the delivery only to find later that the product was damaged in transit, it is your responsibility to file a claim with the shipping company.

For Items Otherwise Defective or Missing: If you received an order with missing or defective items (not damaged in transit), please notify us in writing (send us an email) within 48 hours following receipt. We will replace all defective merchandise if we are notified within 48 hours and if the item is returned. Replacing defective items includes no restocking fees.

Order Cancellations
If you find that you need to cancel your order, please contact us immediately. We accept cancellations for any reason. Due to our highly integrated supply chain, we typically fill and ship an order within eight hours of your order clearing. Once the order is sent, it is difficult and costly to cancel and recall. Therefore, our policy is simply that once your order is shipped, the return policy is in effect.

In some cases of custom ordering, an item may be non-cancelable.

Shipping

Only $7.95 per shipment, any size order in the Continental U.S.!
Orders are processed Monday - Friday at Aetna-Hardware.com. It generally takes no more than 1-2 days to process an order, although we frequently process and ship on stock items in less than 24 hours.

Quick-ship Items 48 hours
Back-ordered or Non-stock Items 2 to 6 weeks
Custom-crafted Items 4 to 8 weeks

Upon ordering, the online checkout will tell you how long you can expect to wait for your shipment to arrive. If there is an unexpected delay in your order, we will notify you via email. It is your responsibility to notify us if you would like to cancel the shipment due to a delay.

Only $7.95 per shipment, any size order in the Continental U.S.! This includes shipments from multiple manufacturers.

Aetna-Hardware.com ships when an order is entirely complete. If you want a partial shipment while you wait for your back-ordered/custom items, please contact us.

Orders are shipped Ground unless requested otherwise.
Shipping to Alaska or Hawaii is not available.
We cannot ship to countries outside the USA.

Warranties
Aetna-Hardware.com only offers products from manufacturers of the highest quality. We do not offer any warranties beyond those supplied by the hardware manufacturers. Please contact us if you would like information on the separate manufacturers warranty options or need assistance in producing a warranty claim.
